A Paid Internship Opportunity!
Life Empowerment Experience Summer 2025
Check back in Summer 2025 for new opportunities!
Intertwined in partnership with select YMCA locations is offering students the opportunity to participate in the Y's Leaders-In- Training (LIT) Internship, a 8-week summer experience that provides teens with the chance to gain positive work experience and to connect meaningfully to bettering the community. LITs work assisting full-time camp counselors in their childcare and program support roles.
Typically families have to pay for their young person to join the Y's LIT program. But students who were enrolled in Intertwined during the 2024-25 school year can work at the YMCA...FREE OF CHARGE!
And even better, Intertwined will pay students a stipend for successful completion of all aspects of their Y internship!
